Vehicle Description Previous Texas F1 said to be only 3 prior owners.
True barn find.
Original flathead V8 with 3 on the tree manual.
Body-off restoration (not cab structure/see pictures) specific to body work and paint (not mechanicals).
Pictures show well the rust free framing.
2 year project which came out spectacular! It is a head turner for sure! New interior upholstery with added seat belts.
Original heater core reconditioned to keep original unit intact.
The heat will sweat you out of the cab! Returned 12V back to a 6V system as original.
Electric wipers added (vacuum switch still in place on dash crown).
You may not want to drive in a monsoon but they work quite well.
Wiring harness replaced.
Original 1951 6V horn purchased and installed/working.
This is an original truck so there is ALWAYS something to do to keep you tinkering, as my son and I did to help him learn how trucks really work! As you can see in the pictures, the bed has not been redone, at least since my ownership.
Research has suggested the 1951 had a solid wood board floor, which is what is in place.
I can not confirm if this is in fact the original flooring or replaced by a previous owner.
New Coker period correct wide whitewall tires were installed, including an under bed spare.
Brakes were done by prior owners.
I have all paperwork for what was completed during our ownership as well as some from the prior owner in Texas.
The pictures show much better than what I can tell you.
She is a beautiful F1!.
